Cougars season ends with loss to Clay County

Offensive struggles plagued the Copper Basin Cougars Friday, November 6, as they fell to the Clay County Bulldogs 21-0 in the first round of the state playoffs. The Cougars hosted the Bulldogs and held their senior night ceremony as well.

Fannin sets sights on region championship

The Fannin County Rebel football team continued their steam rolling of opponents Saturday, November 7, as they traveled to Summerville, Georgia, to take on Chattooga High School. The Rebels played well on both sides, winning the game 37-7, as their record remains unblemished at 7-0 on the season.

Fannin Rebels roll past Model to remain perfect

Two undefeated teams in Region 7AA squared off in Fannin County on a chilly night Friday, October 30. The undefeated Rebels hosted the undefeated in region play Model Blue Devils as the Rebels looked to keep their undefeated streak alive.

Lady Rebels win region, Rebels finish as Runner Up

The Fannin County High School Rebels and Lady Rebels cross country team competed in the Region 7AA meet Tuesday, October 27, at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia.

Holloway places first at cross country meet

The Fannin County cross country team held their first home meet at the Fannin County Recreation Department Wednesday, October 21. It was also senior night for the Rebel and Lady Rebel runners as four seniors were honored before the meet.

Lady Rebels fall to Armuchee in tournament

The Fannin County Lady Rebels volleyball team faced off against the Armuchee Lady Indians Wednesday, October 21, in the first round of the State Tournament. Fannin County played well, but fell to the Lady Indians 3-1.
