Lady Rebels fall to Armuchee in tournament

The Fannin County Lady Rebels volleyball team faced off against the Armuchee Lady Indians Wednesday, October 21, in the first round of the State Tournament. Fannin County played well, but fell to the Lady Indians 3-1.

The Copper Basin Cougars, who do not have their starting quarterback, backup quarterback, starting running back and starting linebacker battled against the North Georgia Falcons Friday, October 15.

Fannin tops Pepperell, remains perfect

We have all heard when you go to a new school or a new neighborhood, you find the biggest, toughest bully on the block and go see how you stack up. Well, the Fannin County Rebels did that last Friday, when they traveled to play Region 7-AA bully Pepperell in a huge matchup for both teams.

Cougars lose battle to McMinn Central

The Copper Basin Cougars took to the road again Friday, October 9, to take on McMinn Central in a non-region football game in Etowah, Tennessee. The 7-0 Cougars were looking to stay unbeaten, while also trying to avenge a tough loss last year to the 1-5 Chargers in Copperhill.

Lady Rebels fall to Chattooga

The Fannin County Lady Rebel softball team traveled to Summerville, Georgia, Wednesday, October 7, for a double header against Chattooga. Slow starts plagued the Lady Rebels in both games, and Fannin Could not recover as Chattooga won the first game 13-0 and the second game 11-0.

Rebels dominate Gordon Central 57-6

The Fannin County Rebel football team stepped on their home field Friday, October 9, and was able to string together a powerful first half to take a 57-6 win over the Gordon Central Warriors.

Fannin places third at Area Tournament

The Fannin County Lady Rebels volleyball team played in their Area Tournament Saturday, October 3. Fannin County played well, finishing third overall. In the Lady Rebels first game they faced Chattooga.
