The Fannin County Rebels football team hit the road, Friday, November 9, to take on the Calhoun Yellow Jackets for the first round of the postseason playoffs.

The Fannin County wrestling team hit the road Saturday, November 10, as they went to Locust Grove High School for the Locust Grove Wildcat Scramble.

Jacob Gailey of Mineral Bluff continues to excel in competitive junior singles tennis. Gailey participated in the Universal Tennis Ranking Atlanta tournament held in Dunwoody October 6.


Sandra H. Mercier passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at her home. She was 71. 

Kay Curbow passed away October 11 at the age of 76.
