Mrs. Geneva Lee Whitener, age 88, of the Rock Creek Community in Cherry Log, passed away May 29, 2020 in Manassas, Virginia.  She was born in McFarland, Tennessee, to the late Luther and Janie Roberson McClure. Mrs.

Calvin Lee Buttram, age 67, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.  He was born on April 9, 1953 in Ducktown, to the late Thomas Frank Buttram and Helen Pauline Queen. He was a member of Helping Hand Fellowship Church.

Hobert Abercrombie

Mr. William “Hobert” Abercrombie, age 95, of Blue Ridge, passed away at his home June 3, 2020.  He was born in a small farmhouse on Hemptown Creek in Mineral Bluff, May 18, 1925, to the late Thomas Hayden and Bonnie Lee Wright Abercrombie.

Guinn Williamson

Guinn Louis Williamson, age 88, of Epworth, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020, at his home.  He was born September 4, 1931, in Higdon,  to the late Keen Williamson and Nora Hallum Williamson.  Mr. Williamson retired from the United States Tobacco Company as a sales representative.

Harold Long

Mr. James Harold Long, age 82, of Skeenah Gap Road, Suches, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in the Northeast Georgia Medical Center of Gainesville following an extended illness.  Harold was born March 9, 1938, in Suches, son of the late Lewis Long and the late Ada Panter.

Edsel Deal

William Edsel Deal, age 94, of Ducktown, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Blue Ridge Assisted Living Center.  Edsel was born August 28, 1925, in Ducktown, Tennessee, to the late William Daniel Deal and the late Louise Carter Deal.

Tom Jervis, 51, passed away May 1, 2020, in his home in Batesville, Mississippi. He was a professional painter, a musician, and an avid fisherman.

Jeanette Kyle

Jeanette Ray Kyle, age 81, of Mineral Bluff, passed away May 17, 2020, at her home in Mineral Bluff.  In Fannin County, Mrs. Kyle was born October 29, 1938, to the late John Ray and the late Gracie Davis Ray. She was a lifelong resident of Fannin County and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
