Benjamin Woodall

Benjamin Larson Woodall, age 19, of Epworth, passed away April 21, 2020. He was born in Kennesaw, Georgia, October 14, 2000. Ben was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Epworth. He was a Life Scout with Troop 460 in Morganton.

Robert Rilea

Mr. Robert C. Rilea, age 81, of Brasstown, passed away Friday evening, April 17, 2020, at his home. Mr. Rilea was born May 30, 1938, in Ocala, Florida, to the late Charles Leon Rilea and the late Florence Nellie Bird Rilea. He was a charter member of the Fannin County Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Susan Morris

Mrs. Susan Morris, age 76, of Epworth, passed away April 20, 2020 in Piedmont Mountainside hospital in Jasper, Georgia.  Born October 31, 1943, in Olympia, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Walter Fred and Arthur Katherine Earley Millsaps.

Delores Jones

Delores ‘Nana” Jones Ayers, age 72 of Blue Ridge, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 3, 2020, in Morganton. Delores was born in Washington, D.C., July 22, 1947, to the late Isaac Daniel Adkins and the late Thelma Marian “Great” Adkins. She attended Epworth United Methodist Church.

Sherry Ray

Mrs. Sheryl Andrea “Sherry” Ray, age 57, of McCaysville, passed away on April 5, 2020 at her home. She was born on October 31, 1962 in Marietta, Georgia. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend.

Linda Pfund

70, of Epworth, passed away on April 7, 2020 at her home in Epworth. She was born in Pohakee, Florida to Tommy and Elizabeth Hitchcock Housch. Linda was of the Baptist faith, she owned and operated Blue Jeans Restaurant in Blue Ridge for 10 years. Linda was preceded in death by her mother.

Ruby Bennett

Mrs. Ruby Lee Bennett, age 93, of Blue Ridge, went to be with her Lord on April 14, 2020. Mrs. Bennett was a native of Fannin County. She was preceded in death by her parents the Rev.

Farrell Baliles

Farrell Garrett Baliles, age 69, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is also preceded in death by her sister Ellen Prince and great-grandson, Adam Baliles.

David Collins

David Michael Collins, 75, of Loganville, Georgia went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 29, 2020. Dave was born in Marietta to Reathel and Clyde Collins of Blue Ridge.  Blue Ridge was home for Dave. He lived there until he graduated from West Fannin High School.

Johnny Cantrell

John Floyd “Johnny” Cantrell, age 68, of Turtletown, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1952 in Copperhill, to the late Floyd Benjamin Cantrell and Pheobe Nell Hooker Cantrell. Johnny worked as a superintendent industrial painter for Williams Group.
