Lady Rebels fall to GAC in region tournament

The Fannin County Lady Rebels basketball team traveled to East Hall High School Friday, February 7, to take on Greater Atlanta Christian in the Region Tournament. The Lady Rebels played well, but the Lady Spartans were able to pull away in the fourth to win 55-43.

Lady Cougars fall to Polk County

The Copper Basin Lady Cougars hosted the Polk County Lady Wildcats Tuesday, February 4. The in-county rivals battled back and forth, but Polk County was able to jump out to a 21-4 lead in the first and Copper Basin could not recover as they fell to the Lady Wildcats 57-29.

The Copper Basin Cougars basketball team hosted in-county rival Polk County Tuesday, February 4. Fans of both teams filled the stands and neither team disappointed, putting on a high-scoring show.

Lady Rebels soccer beats Murray

The Fannin County Lady Rebels kicked off their season Tuesday, February 4, with a home game against the Murray County Lady Indians. The Lady Rebels battled on the slippery wet field, making Fannin adjust their game plan and touches.

Lady Rebels top Lumpkin County

The Fannin County Lady Rebels basketball team traveled to North Hall Wednesday, February 5, to take on Lumpkin County in the region tournament.

Rebels fall to Greater Atlanta Christian

The Fannin County Lady Rebels basketball team faced off against region rival, the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans in front of a packed home crowd Friday, January 31. The  Lady Rebels were electric and emotional, as it was the last home game of the season.

Copper Basin falls to Polk County

The Copper Basin Lady Cougars traveled to Benton, Monday, January 27, for a catfight against their in-county rival the Polk County Lady Wildcats. Copper Basin fell behind early, but a 21-point fourth quarter put the Lady Cougars back in the game.

Rebels fall to GAC Spartans

The Fannin County Rebels basketball team hosted region rival Greater Atlanta Christian for the last home game of the season Friday, January 31. The Rebels started out strong, but the Spartans were able to come away with a 64-33 victory.

Lady Cougars get district victory

The Copper Basin Lady Cougars hosted the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Mustangs Tuesday, January 28, for a district matchup. Copper Basin was able to jump out early and hold off the Lady Mustangs for a big 50-26 win.
