Fannin cross country shines at Rockmart

The Fannin County High School cross country team competed at the Rockmart Invitational Tuesday, October 4, where both teams racked up the hardware. The Rebels were on deck first.

Fannin rec league teams post several victories

The Fannin County Rec Department football teams were all on the road Saturday, October 8. The Flag Football teams were in Lumpkin County, while the football teams were in Chestatee.

Cougars fall 44-14

The Copper Basin Cougars jumped back into Region 3-A play Friday, September 30, as they hit the road to Chattanooga to take on the Lookout Valley Yellow Jackets.

Lady Rebels win 11-10

The Fannin County High School softball team won the nail-biter against the Murray County Indians in overtime 11 to 10 Tuesday, September 27. The first inning was scoreless as both teams fought for three quick outs. Jayden Bailey started the second with a single, then she stole second.

The Fannin County High School Cross Country team competed in Murphy, North Carolina Saturday, September 24.The grass glistened in the early-morning dew  as 11 teams bolted across the football field. Zechariah Prater took the lead for the Rebels.

Tellico escapes with 27-14 win over Basin

The Copper Basin Cougars hosted the Tellico Plains Bears Friday, September 23, for Homecoming 2022. A great crowd was on hand, enjoying the first real taste of fall, Homecoming activities, and enjoying a very highly contested football game between two old rivals.

Rebels continue winning ways at Gordon Central

The Fannin County High School football team traveled to Calhoun for their first region game against the Gordon Central Warriors and came home with a 47-6 victory. The game started with senior Corbin Davenport returning the ball to the 16 yard line.

Lady Rebels win

The Fannin County High School (FCHS) Lady Rebels volleyball team earned victories against area opponents Gordon Central and Haralson County during their Pink Out matches Tuesday, September 13. During the Gordon Central match, the team had 24 kills, 13 aces and 15 digs.
