Fannin Rebels earn playoff spot

The Fannin Rebels secured a playoff spot with a 49-28 win over Haralson County Thursday, November 3, at Fannin County Stadium. Jack Kantner drove the opening kickoff to the five yard line, and Andrew Waldrep stopped the ball carrier at the 10.

South Pittsburg puts end to Copper Basin season

The Copper Basin ended the 2022 season on the road, as they traveled to South Pittsburg to take on the defending Class A Champion Pirates Friday, October 28.

Lady Rebels win, Rebels second in region

The Fannin County High School (FCHS) cross country teams traveled to Rome, Georgia to competed in the  Region 7AA Championship meet Tuesday, October 25. Both teams competed in the warm windy conditions, but Lady Rebels brought home the trophy for the third consecutive year in a row.

Lady Rebels earn Sweet 16 spot

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels volleyball team advanced to the Sweet Sixteen after a hard fought victory over Fellowship Christian Wednesday, October 19. During the first set, the Lady Rebels lost 25 to 15. They almost closed the gap in the second set by just three points.

Copper Basin Cougars get first victory

The Copper Basin Cougars said goodbye to seven seniors as they hosted the North Georgia Falcons for Senior Night Friday, October 21 at Copper Basin High School.

Rebels post region win over Murray Co.

The Fannin County Rebels football team traveled to Murray County Friday, October 21, and came home with a 42-7 region win over the Murray County Indians. The Rebels started off hot as Bryson Holloway carried the ball to the 35, then ran again to the 47 yard line.

Lady Rebels win region championship

The Fannin County High School volleyball team clinched the Region 7AA Championship  after defeating Murray County in a best of five series at Murray County High School. Peyton Slone was chosen as Region 7AA Player of the Year.

FCHS HOMECOMING 2022

The Fannin County Rebels football team broke the all-time Fannin County scoring record with their 68-42 win against region opponent North Murray Mountaineers Friday night in Blue Ridge. To start the game, the Rebels took over at their own 45 yard line.
