Track & Field wins state titles

Winners: Lady Rebels claim state honors The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels 4x800 meter relay team won the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Championship, and Karli Sams became the first female in school history to medal in four State Championship Events.

Lady Rebels season ends with close loss to Rabun

The Rebels girls tennis team’s season came to an end with a close loss against Rabun County. Before this loss, the girls fought their way to a Sweet 16 spot. “I am so very proud of these kids this year. They have worked hard and dedicated their time to getting better,” coach Suzianne Pass said.

Wrestlers earn honors

Fannin County High School Rebel families celebrated their wrestlers’ achievements at the wrestling team’s end of season banquet Monday, April 28. “He broke his hand early on in the season, so he was out most of the season and came back at the end and still made it to state.

State title efforts recognized The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) A-D1 State Champion Women’s basketball team Fannin County Lady Rebels held their banquet Tuesday, April 29, to award players and recognize their accomplishments from the historic 2024-2025 season.

The Fannin Rebels girls tennis team moved to the next round of Georgia High School Association playoffs, winning their match against Haralson. Izzie Jabaley started the Rebels off by winning her two sets six to zero. Sadie Patton followed with the same score.
The Fannin County High School Lady Rebel Track & Field Team are the 1A Division 1 Region Champions. The victory last week advances several individual Lady Rebels and relay teams to the State Sectional Meet this Saturday. The Sectional is equivalent to earning a spot in the state playoffs.

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebel Track & Field Team continue for their 1A Division 1 Region 7 championship. On the way to the title, several individual Lady Rebels and relay teams placed in the top four in their respective event, qualifying for the State Sectional Meet.

Rebels earn spot in baseball Sweet 16

The Fannin County Rebels baseball team punched their ticket to the Sweet Sixteen when they won big over the Armuchee Indians 13-2 and 13-0 in a double header Friday, April 25, at home in their first post season playoff game.

Rebels post big 10-0 victory over Dade County

The Fannin County Rebels won big over Dade County Varsity Wolverines 10-0 Tuesday, April 8. The Rebels got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Mason McDaniel singled to center field, and Hudson York walked, each scoring one run.
