Lady Rebels advance in playoffs with win over Haralson

The Fannin Rebels girls tennis team moved to the next round of Georgia High School Association playoffs, winning their match against Haralson. Izzie Jabaley started the Rebels off by winning her two sets six to zero. Sadie Patton followed with the same score.
The Fannin County High School Lady Rebel Track & Field Team are the 1A Division 1 Region Champions. The victory last week advances several individual Lady Rebels and relay teams to the State Sectional Meet this Saturday. The Sectional is equivalent to earning a spot in the state playoffs.

Lady Rebels capture region crown

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebel Track & Field Team continue for their 1A Division 1 Region 7 championship. On the way to the title, several individual Lady Rebels and relay teams placed in the top four in their respective event, qualifying for the State Sectional Meet.

Rebels earn spot in baseball Sweet 16

The Fannin County Rebels baseball team punched their ticket to the Sweet Sixteen when they won big over the Armuchee Indians 13-2 and 13-0 in a double header Friday, April 25, at home in their first post season playoff game.

The Fannin County High School Rebels and Lady Rebels track and field teams competed Wednesday, April 16, in the Creekview Last Chance Meet at Creekview High School against athletes in all classifications (A - AAAAAA).

The Fannin County Rebels baseball team defeated Gordon Central Varsity Warriors 15-0  Tuesday, April 15, thanks in part to nine runs in the first inning.

Rebels post big 10-0 victory over Dade County

The Fannin County Rebels won big over Dade County Varsity Wolverines 10-0 Tuesday, April 8. The Rebels got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Mason McDaniel singled to center field, and Hudson York walked, each scoring one run.

Jacob Dye heads to LaGrange College

Fannin County High School Rebel football standout Jacob Dye has committed to further his athletic career and education with LaGrange College. “It doesn’t just happen overnight,” Rebel head coach Chad Cheatham said of the opportunity to play the game at a college level.

Rebels fall in close contest

The Fannin County High School Rebels baseball team lost a hard fought April 3 game against Gordon Lee 4-3. Gordon Lee’s pitcher and defense held the Rebels at zero runs until the fifth inning. On the Fannin side, the game also depended on defense.
