Lady Rebels advance in playoffs with win over Haralson

The Fannin Rebels girls tennis team moved to the next round of Georgia High School Association playoffs, winning their match against Haralson.

Izzie Jabaley started the Rebels off by winning her two sets six to zero.

Sadie Patton followed with the same score.

Maddie Schueneman won on a forfeit in the third game.

In the championship, victory goes to the first school to win three matches. With that, Fannin had officially won.

Although the doubles teams didn’t get to play out their matches, Kendall Clore and Taber Pass were winning when they were pulled. They won their first set six to one, and were winning their second three to two when the match was called.

So were Piper Stroemer and Gracie Tutterrow. They won their first set six to three, and were winning their second four to zero when the match was called.

After this win, the girls team will continue into the Sweet 16 of the championship, where they will face either Rabun County or Dodge County.
