Fannin County ends season with loss to Fitzgerald

The Fannin County Rebel football team’s season came to an end Friday, November 19, when they fell to the Fitzgerald Hurricanes 28-14 in the the Sweet Sixteen round of the Georgia High School Association’s State Playoffs.

Rebels advance to sweet sixteen

The Fannin County Rebel football team cruised to the sweet sixteen round of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Football Playoffs when they topped the Bremen Blue Devils 45-14  in front of the Rebels home crowd Friday, November 12.

The Lady Rebels were able to finish in tenth place. Rebels repeat as region champs

The Fannin County Rebel football team are back-to-back region champions for the first time in school history. The Rebels claimed the title Friday, November 5, when they hosted Dade County in a winner takes all dog fight.

Fannin cross country teams shine at region meet

The Fannin County Rebel and Lady Rebel Cross Country teams recently competed in the GHSA Region 7AA Championship Tuesday, October 26, at Pepperell High School. Both the Lady Rebels and Rebels shined, as the Lady Rebels claimed first place and the Rebels brought home second place.

Lady Rebels top Dawson County

The Fannin County Lady Rebels flag football team hosted the Dawson County Lady Tigers on a cool morning Saturday, October 23. The match-up was the semi-final round of the playoffs as the winner of the contest advanced to play Lumpkin County in the Super Bowl this weekend.
