Fannin cross country teams shine at region meet

The Fannin County Rebel and Lady Rebel Cross Country teams recently competed in the GHSA Region 7AA Championship Tuesday, October 26, at Pepperell High School. Both the Lady Rebels and Rebels shined, as the Lady Rebels claimed first place and the Rebels brought home second place.
The Fannin County offensive line was recognized by Georgia High School Football Daily Newsletter Tuesday, October 26. The Rebels’ offensive line was named The Otter’s Chicken Offensive Line of the Week and consists of, from left, Dylan Collins, Rico Arellanes, Taylor Collis, Jeremy Tammen, Logan Long, and half backs Cade Sands and Issac Davis. The Fannin County Lady Rebels flag football team hosted the Dawson County Lady Tigers on a cool morning Saturday, October 23. The match-up was the semi-final round of the playoffs as the winner of the contest advanced to play Lumpkin County in the Super Bowl this weekend.

The Copper Basin Cougars hosted the Bradley Knights for homecoming 2021 Friday, October 15. Copper Basin scored early and often and put the game completely out of reach on the way to a convincing 62-0 win.
