Cougars score homecoming win over visiting Bradley

The Copper Basin Cougars hosted the Bradley Knights for homecoming 2021 Friday, October 15. Copper Basin scored early and often and put the game completely out of reach on the way to a convincing 62-0 win.

Rebels roll over Model in region contest

The Fannin County Rebels loaded the bus and took off for Rome, Georgia, to take on the Model Blue Devils in a Region 7-AA football matchup Friday, October 15, looking to stay undefeated in region play and set themselves up for another region title run in 2021.

The Lady Rebel volleyball team hosted the Hiwassee Dam Lady Eagles Tuesday, October 5.For the Lady Rebels it was senior night as they honored Rachel Bruce, Reagan York, Kaylie Kendall, and Kalliee Stanley during the last home game.

Lady Rebels fall to Model in close game

The Fannin County Lady Rebel softball team had a full crowd Tuesday, October 5, when they hosted region rival Model. For three Lady Rebels, it was senior night, as Jaylen Green, Riley Davis and Kharcee Hughes were honored.

Copper Basin offense not enough against Meigs

The Copper Basin Cougar football team made the trek to Meigs County Friday, October 8, to take on the number one ranked in 2A Region three Tigers. The Tigers headed into the game as the number 52 team in the state of Tennessee.

Bobo set to play in state golf tournament

Copper Basin senior golfer Evan Bobo has done something that has not been done at Copper Basin since the golf program restart in the early 2000’s, when he advanced to the state tournament after a solid finish in the region tournament.
