Rebels soccer made history

Group Picture ID- The Fannin County High School Rebels boys soccer team was ready to make history Friday evening at the high school football stadium as they hosted a Sweet 16 match against the Fellowship Christian Paladins, the first Sweet 16 appearance in the history of boys soccer.

Lady Cougars lead early in lopsided win over Polk

The Copper Basin Lady Cougars paid a visit to long time rival Polk County Friday, April 26. Before the fans could even get in their seats, the ballgame was practically over. Copper Basin scored 11 runs in the first inning and never looked back, routing the Lady Wildcats 20-2 in four innings.

Lady Rebels soccer team earns spot in Sweet 16

  The Fannin County Lady Rebels soccer team advanced to the Sweet 16 round in the 2024 Georgia State Soccer Championships with a win over North Cobb Christian. Fannin County hosted the Lady Eagles Thursday with the winner earning the right to advance in post season play.

Lady Rebel tennis climb to spot in Sweet 16 playoffs

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebel tennis team has advanced to the Sweet 16 of the Georgia State Tennis Championships. A first round win over North Cobb Christian Academy (NCCA) propelled the local team into Sweet 16 action this week.
Golfers and golf enthusiasts crowded the Old Toccoa Farm course Tuesday, April 16, for the Corporal Richard Gazaway Memorial Golf Tournament. The event is sponsored annually by the Fannin County Sheriff’s Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #111 as a fundraiser to support the children of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives. Seniors honored as both squads score wins over Pickens Five Fannin County High School Track and Field seniors were honored Monday, April 8, as the boys and girls squads both scored big wins over Pickens County. The events took place at the Fannin County High School football field.
