Students of Copper City Karate recently competed in the 42nd annual Mid-South Championship Saturday, May 1. The kids performed well as a group and are led by Sensei David Herring. Herring said he would like to thank the City of Copperhill for providing the gym that Copper City Karate practices in.

The Fannin County Lady Rebels basketball team celebrated a successful season Monday, May 3, at the end-of-season banquet. The Lady Rebels golf team had an impressive outing, finishing third at the Area 3-AA Girls Golf Tournament at Old Toccoa Farms Golf Course Monday, April 26.
