Students of Copper City Karate recently competed in the 42nd annual Mid-South Championship Saturday, May 1. The kids performed well as a group and are led by Sensei David Herring. Herring said he would like to thank the City of Copperhill for providing the gym that Copper City Karate practices in.

The Fannin Rebel and Lady Rebel golf teams recently held their end-of-season banquet at Circle J Steakhouse in Blue Ridge. Mercer shines

Thomas Mercer represented Fannin County High School Saturday, May 15, at the Georgia High School Association 2021 Track and Field State Championship. Mercer competed well, finishing second overall in 2A Boys 300 Meter Hurdles Finals.

Track and field competes

Two Fannin Rebels and the Lady Rebels 4x800 meter relay team shined at the 2A Sectional Regions Saturday, May  8, as they qualified for the state meet.
The Fannin County Lady Rebels basketball team celebrated a successful season Monday, May 3, at the end-of-season banquet. The Lady Rebels finished 2020-'21 as region champions and runner-ups in the state championship. The Fannin County Lady Rebels varsity and junior varsity basketball players held their end-of-season banquet Monday, May 3, at the Fannin County High School gym. The junior varsity team was recognized first, and promises a bright future for the up and coming Lady Rebels.

Fannin track and field shines

The Fannin County High School track and field team recently competed in the region meet against region schools. Both the boys and girls did great, with the girls taking seventh place overall with 42 points, while the boys took third place with 82 points.
