Pass named winner, takes the 2023 FFF title

It was a wild finish in the Fearless Football Forecasters in week 12, as we had a three-way tie going into the week. Suzianne Pass, Jeff Grimes, and John Spargo were all tied at the top setting up what would be a great finish.

The Fannin County High School Rebels won their scrimmage against Andrews High School 64-53 Wednesday, November 15. Senior Ben Bloch led the Rebels with 24 points followed by Jordan Richerson with 16. Freshman Kolton Kaylor put up 9 points. Matthew Ponton gave the Rebels 6 points.

Lady Rebels post huge win

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels took a 78-18 scrimmage win over Andrews High School Wednesday, November 15. The Lady Rebels controlled the game from the opening tip, never giving up the advantage.

Rebels end season in first round of playoffs

The Fannin County High School Rebels football team ended their season with a 33-27 playoff loss to North Cobb Christian (NCC) School Eagles Saturday, November 11. The Rebels finished 24th in AA across Georgia with a 3-3 region record and an overall 5-6 mark.

Rebels earn first round playoff spot

The Fannin County High School Rebels punched their ticket to the GHSA AA State Football Playoffs with a 41-14 road victory over region opponent Haralson County Friday, November 3.

STATE HONORS

Zechariah Prater made history for Fannin County High School this past Saturday when he became the first runner, male or female, to win a state championship.
The Fannin County Lady Rebels volleyball team made it all the way to the Sweet 16 of state tournament competition this year before falling to Providence Christian Saturday. The team is shown after the game. Last Tuesday, the Lady Rebels advanced to the Sweet 16 with a first round state playoff win over The Walker School.

Long time Copper Basin High School football coach Mark Stone was honored as one of the schools’ Legends of the Game. Stone was recognized during the Cougars’ homecoming game Friday night.
