Lela Suzanne Ritchie, age 36, of McCaysville, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020.  She was born March 13, 1984, in Blue Ridge. Lela was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She worked as an account manager for Circuit World in Blairsville.

Ms. Deborah “Debbie” Spruill, age 65 of Blairsville, went Home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 15, 2020.  Debbie was born December 16, 1954, in Atlanta Georgia, the daughter of the late Charlie Manon Spruill Jr., and Garnys Crowe Spruill.

Kimberly White

Kimberly Michelle White, age 48 of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away August 15, 2020, at her home.  Ms. White was born May 17, 1972, in Blue Ridge, to the late Albert White and Debra Flowers White.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Brent Flowers.

Jimmy Joe Harris, age 83, of Mineral Bluff passed away at his residence August 9, 2020. Born in Copperhill, he was the son of the late John and Flonnie Mae Denton Harris. Mr. Harris was retired from the Tennessee Chemical Company after many years of service as a mechanic.

Myles Joe Watkins, age 90, of McCaysville, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020, in Hiawassee, Georgia.  He was born in Fannin County, April 21, 1930, to the late Jess Watkins and Annie Jones Watkins.

Mary Frances Stanley, age 70, of Blue Ridge, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at her home.  She was born September 3, 1949, in Epworth, to the late Bud McDaniel and Louise Nicholson McDaniel.  Frances was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ellen Melton, age 86, of Copperhill, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at her home.  Mrs. Melton was born in McCaysville, October 12, 1933, to the late Andrew L. Hughes and Dollie Gertrude Hughes. She worked as a waitress for the Yellow Jacket Restaurant for over 40 years. Mrs.

Mrs. Loretta Marie Ash, age 76, of Epworth passed away August 17, 2020, in the Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, Georgia.  Born in Copperhill, she was the daughter of the late James McKinney and Johnnie Margaret Owenby Russell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and devoted Christian.
