Mr. Gary Dale Ledford, age 56, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away September 14, 2020, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He was born June, 18, 1964, in Copperhill, the son of the Corrine Parris Ledford and the late Gerald Ledford. He was a devoted member of Mount Liberty Baptist Church.

Mr. Timothy Neal Smith, age 53, of Turtletown, passed away September 15, 2020, in the Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, North Carolina.  He was a proud veteran serving both in the United States Marine Corps and Army.

George Edward O’Neal Jr., “Ebby,” age 77, of McCaysville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the PruittHealth of Blue Ridge. He was born on June 1, 1943, in McCaysville, to the late George Edward O’Neal and Louise Payne O’Neal.  He loved farming.

Mr. Stephen Douglas Dillard, age 67, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020, at his home. He was born in Copperhill, to the late Rev. Harley Dillard and Geneva Collis Dillard. Stephen will be remembered as a good-hearted person and spent his life caring for others.

Linda Spencer Dickey, age 73, of McCaysville, passed away September 12, 2020, at Hospice of Chattanooga. Linda was born on January 23, 1947, to the late Samuel Clark Spencer and the late Mae Harper Spencer. She is also preceded in death by her spouse, George Robert Dickey.

Jason Crane

Jason Bruce Crane, born in Atlanta, Georgia, suddenly passed away due to health complications August 17, 2020, at the age of 51.  He was saved by the Grace of God and Baptized at Promise Land Ministries in Ellijay, Georgia, and is now at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mr. James Earl Ballew Jr., known as “Jimbo” to his many friends, age 84, a lifelong resident of Blue Ridge, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020. “Jimbo” was born October 7, 1935, to the late James Earl Ballew Sr. and the late Nell Rogers Ballew.
