Wayne Elliott of Blue Ridge, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ December 22, 2020, at the age of 76. Wayne was born May 8, 1944, in Augusta, Georgia. He lived all his life in Georgia, predominately in Atlanta, and moved to Blue Ridge in 2012.

Dale Edgar Prentice, 61, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away at home with his family Saturday, December 26, 2020. Born in Lincoln Park, Michigan, he grew up in Wayne County, Michigan, and graduated from Fannin County High School in Blue Ridge, Georgia. His father died when Dale was 10.

Santa Claus waves from the helicopter as he and pilot Damon Williams land at the Fannin County Recreation Department Wednesday, December 23. Santa made his appearance during a special drive-thru event. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, he wasn’t able to visit personally with children, but his appearance brightened many faces.
