The Rev. Warren Edd O’Neal, age 78, of Epworth, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at his home.  He was born March 29, 1942, in Copperhill, to the late Robert Simon O’Neal and Bonnie Lou Tankersley O’Neal.

Frances Gunter

Mrs. Frances Charlene Gunter, 87, passed away January 16, 2021, at her residence.  She was born January 7, 1934, in Smyrna, Georgia, to the late Ernest and Mary Palmer Clark.  She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Epworth.

Marie Dills

Marie Dills, age 84, of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Ellijay.  She was born August 6, 1936, in Fannin County, to the late Bert Monroe Dills and Rosie Tate Godfrey Dills. Marie was a member of Star Creek Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress for many years.

Betty Curtis

Mrs. Betty Jean Curtis, age 72, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville.  She was born September 22, 1948, to the late Henry Newton Burgess and Edith Ruth Ballew. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

David Reach

David Hugh Reach, Master Chief, USN retired, age 80, of Suches, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  Mr. Reach was born September 16, 1940, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late James Hubert Reach and the late Florence Elsie Fitts Reach.

A.D. Patterson

A.D. Patterson, 81, of Mineral Bluff, passed away January 10, 2021, at Union General Hospital.  He was of Baptist faith. He loved hunting, woodworking, cattle farming, gardening and operating his farm equipment. He enjoyed talking to people about his tri-state corner.

Grady Davenport

Grady Winston Davenport, 72, of Blue Ridge, died January 13, 2021. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Donnie Davenport, Rev.

Elmo Charles

Mr. Elmo Johnson Charles, 85, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021.  He was born July 22, 1935, in Gilmer County, to the late James Hershel Charles and Minnie Lee Langley Charles.  Elmo was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War.
