Lady Rebels win region championship

    The Fannin County High School volleyball team clinched the Region 7AA Championship  after defeating Murray County in a best of five series at Murray County High School.

    Peyton Slone was chosen as Region 7AA Player of the Year. Slone had 391 total skills for the season and is ranked #1 in 2A Area 7 for kills and hitting percentage.

    Ava Queen and Maddie Pelfrey were both selected for All-Region First Team, and Kaylie Davenport was selected for All-Region Second Team.

    The Lady Rebels will host Fellowship Christian Wednesday, October 19 at 5:30 p.m. for the first round of state playoffs. Tickets will be $8 online via GoFan. Tickets will be available at the gate as well, but fans are encouraged to purchase ahead of time on GoFan.
