Moriarty makes over 300 masks for community

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, community members have reached out to serve anyone in need. Donna Moriarty is doing her part one stitch at a time. Moriarty began making masks near the beginning of March after hearing of teachers needing masks to deliver food and classwork to students.

Chief Superior Court Judge Brenda Weaver has denied bond for Hunter Ethan Elliott in a decision returned April 29. Elliot is charged with the March 15, 2020, crash that claimed the life of two-year-old Cohen Bryson in Blue Ridge.
