Rhodes charged with child molestation, child pornography

Timothy Mitchell Rhodes is being held in the Fannin County Adult Detention Center without bond following his arrest February 4, 2020, on five felony charges stemming from alleged acts involving a female child under the age of 16 and the possession of pornographic material.

Warrants charge Rhodes, 53, of 884 Old Salem Road, with three counts of child molestation and one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes. The crimes were alleged to have occurred between October 15 and October 31 at Rhodes’ residence. Investigator Scott Galloway of the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office said Rhodes knew his victim.

Rhodes is charged in another warrant with one count of sexual exploitation of children. That warrant accuses Rhodes of possession of material involving a minor female, the crime also said to have taken place at his residence.

Galloway took out all the warrants against Rhodes.

Chief Magistrate Judge Brian Jones denied bond for Rhodes.
