Holiday event vital to Family Connection funding

Fannin County Family Connection is in need of financial help, and to combine that need with kicking off the holdiay season, has scheduled an event to kick off the holiday season.  “Holiday Sip, Skate and Stroll” will be held Saturday, December 5, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and INOLA Blue Ridge.

Five FCMS students join elite group of scholars

Five Fannin County Middle School (FCMS) students became the sixth group of students from the Fannin County School System to become Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen (REACH) scholars during a socially distanced REACH Signing Ceremony Wednesday, October 21.

Hearing back on for 83-home plan

The Blue Ridge Planning Commission may finally hear the request to rezone a 14.15 acre tract of land off of Appalachian Highway. The request was originally made by Johnnie Hastings of Integrity Development Group, LLC.
