A warrant charging a Fannin County man with arson has been taken as the result of a fire at 3427 Sugar Creek Road Monday, October 12. Investigator Gary Edwards of the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office said Sergeant John Bramlett responded to a report of arson at the residence around 10:30 a.m.

Former active duty Marine Kristen Haley is officially a Habitat for Humanity of Fannin and Gilmer Counties home owner as of Wednesday, September 30. “We owe a humongous thanks to Attorney Laura J. Ray and her all-star team,” Executive Director Christopher Hall said.
