Eara Seabolt, age 91, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in Chattanooga.  Mrs. Seabolt was born April 23, 1930, in Dial, Georgia, to the late James William Cantrell and the late Candy Hickey Cantrell.

Bobby Keene

Bobby Ray Keene Sr., age 68, of Turtletown, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at his home.  Bobby was born December 2, 1952, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to the late Truman Keene and Beulah Payne Keene. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.

Barbara Beaver

Barbara Beaver, age 86, of McCaysville, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, after a brief illness.  Barbara married the late Kenneth Beaver in 1960, and they lived together in McCaysville and Riverdale, Georgia, for 38 years. She returned to McCaysville following Kenneth’s death in 1998.

Tom Striker

Tom Striker, age 72, loving husband and father of two daughters, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021,  in his home after a long hard-fought battle from the complications of congestive heart failure. Tom was born in Sacramento, California, November 5, 1948, to George and Mary Striker.

Sally Gordon

Sally Bihler Gordon, age 71, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was born March 9, 1950, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Eugene Bihler and Juanita Zelnar Bihler. Sally was a member of Tilley Baptist Church.

Helen Martin

Helen Sosebee Martin, age 86, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away April 22, 2021. She was born May 13, 1934, in Fannin County, to the late Albert Thomas Sosebee and Lillian Weeks Sosebee. Helen grew up in Fannin County and had one older and one younger brother.

Steve Tanner

Graveside services for Steve W. Tanner, 63, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Annex, Sycamore, Georgia.  Mr. Tanner passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at Cypress Pond Personal Care Home.

Chuck Davis

Charles “Chuck” Bunion Davis, age 60, of Blue Ridge, passed away April 19, 2021, at Parkside Nursing Home in Ellijay, Georgia.  He was born September 17, 1960, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late James “Jimmy” R. Davis and Nancy Walden Davis. Charles served his country in the United States Navy.

Thomas Henry

Mr. Thomas Harley Henry, age 93, of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at Ducktown.   He was born December 1, 1927, to the late Thomas Lester Henry and the late Nobie Weaver Henry Dover. He was a member of O’Zion Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army and Air Force.

Arlene Newman

Arlene Helton Newman, age 86, of Ducktown, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at Kennestone Hospital.  Mrs. Newman was born March 28, 1935, in Isabella, Tennessee, to the late Ralph Kermit Helton and the late Montie Pauline Standridge Helton.
