Eara Seabolt, age 91, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in Chattanooga.
Mrs. Seabolt was born April 23, 1930, in Dial, Georgia, to the late James William Cantrell and the late Candy Hickey Cantrell. A member of Friendship Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Seabolt; brother, Jay Cantrell; son, Charles Seabolt; and son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kathy Seabolt. Eara enjoyed quilting, flowers, gardening and canning food, as well as spending time with her family.
The is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lisa Seabolt; daughters and sons-in-law, Dale and Keith Culberson and Gay and Benny Cross; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Robin Seabolt; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Raymond King; daughter-in-law, Alice Seabolt; niece, Patsy and Brad Ballard; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Truelove officiating. Music was provided by Robert Buchanan.
Interment followed in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Lynn Seabolt, Wesley Seabolt, Shawn Seabolt, Kevin Jones, Cord King, Clayton Seabolt and Keith Culberson.
The family received friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Thursday, April 29, 2021, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
