Sally Bihler Gordon, age 71, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born March 9, 1950, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Eugene Bihler and Juanita Zelnar Bihler. Sally was a member of Tilley Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant in home healthcare. She was preceded in death by her son, Zachary Fish.
Sally is survived by her children and their spouses, Charles and Patricia Fish and Angela and Lee McVay; grandchildren, Nicole Fish, Evan Fish, Ashley Fish, Mitchell McVay and Megan McVay; and siblings, Cassandra Hicks, Frank Bihler and Cupie Korby.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Peacock officiating. Music was provided by Tim Nicholson and family, Nicole Fish and Rev. Robby Chastain and family.
Interment followed in the Salem #2 Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating. Pallbearers were Charles Fish, Evan Fish, Lee McVay, Mitchell McVay, Frank Bihler and Sal Biscardi.
