The office of Dr. Mahmood Siddiqui is offering COVID-19 testing. Polk County and Ducktown officials have agreed  to allow the practice to use building C, just next to Siddiqui's current office at 144 Medical Center Drive in Copperhill at the Copper Basin Medical Center complex.

The Georgia Department of Health has reported three cases of COVID-19 and no virus related deaths in Fannin County as of Saturday, March 28 at noon. According to the department, there are 2,366 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide.

City of Blue Ridge declares State of Emergency, shelter in place

The City of Blue Ridge has declared a Public Health State of Emergency and a mandatory shelter in place order Wednesday, March 25. The ordinance states that all public gatherings of five or more people, on any property owned by the city, is prohibited, with the exception of roads and sidewalks.

There is currently one reported case of COVID-19 in Fannin County, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. There were 1,097 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia as of 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24.
