School board hears Milestones test results

The 2021 end-of-year Georgia Milestones assessment results for the Fannin County School System were presented to the board during the Fannin County Board of Education regular meeting Thursday, September 9, by Lucas Roof, the system’s director of Learning and Achievement.

Kay announces Blue Ridge candidacy

Christy Kay, who has deep roots dating back five generations in Fannin County, has announced her candidacy for Post 3 on the Blue Ridge City Council. Kay is a Fannin County native who emphasizes her experience and knowledge of the challenges and concerns Blue Ridge has seen throughout the years.
