Following the close of the third, and final, Millage Rate public hearing, the Fannin County Board of Commissioners voted to maintain the county’s tax millage rate of 3.862 at a special called meeting Thursday, September 30.
As with the two first hearings, no one from the public attended the hearing to provide commentary for or against the board’s plans.
The county’s millage rate will stay at 3.862, leaving the combined millage rate for the county and schools at 14.021 for 2021.
