Simple questions that do not get a straight answer. Dollars intentionally left out of a financial report. The idea that as long as everyone “thinks”everything is okay then everything is okay. That’s the way Fannin County’s budget is being handled and it’s no way to handle a budget.

Cinnamon has hidden healing

One of the most popular spices any time of the year, but certainly during the Holiday season, is cinnamon. Growing up, a staple in our house was cinnamon toast. You know, the good stuff – hot, toasted white bread with melted butter generously sprinkled with cinnamon and old fashioned white sugar.

Peace and quiet. All of us are guilty of saying something akin to we never get any or we want more. We seem to think there is always too much happening and peace and quiet is the answer to stealing a brief moment of happiness or relaxation or whatever it is we are looking for.
