This year’s special section in The News Observer, a Salute to Veterans, continued a tradition of gaining support.
Readers added 48 new photos to the publication and the newspaper has already received more for next year. We are very grateful for this, an opportunity to say thanks to those who keep us free.
And for next year, we have a request. Several veterans have appeared for a year or more who are shown as currently serving. Please make sure their information is correct, or if it needs to be changed, let us know. There are likely some promotions or retirements that need updated.
