James Earl Phillips, age 80, of Epworth, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020, in Chattanooga.  He was born March 11, 1940, in the Higdon community, to the late Gordon Lloyd Phillips and Elsie Ivalee Ash Phillips. He attended Millsaps Church.

Ray Owen Estes

Ray Estes, 65, died unexpectedly October 30, 2020. He was born June 28, 1955 in Langdale, Alabama. Ray and Melanie were each other’s joy, love and strength. His family and his two dogs, Bella and Angus, were the lights of his life.

Charles Brian Abernathy, 70, of Marietta, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Piedmont Church.  Brian grew up in Blue Ridge, and went on to attend the University of West Georgia.

Katherine Sue Franklin, age 90, of McCaysville, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Copperhill, July 29, 1930, to the late Martin Luther Talley and Etta Pauline Lanning Talley. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
