Geraldine Kantner Jones, of Blue Ridge, passed away November 6, 2021, at the age of 90. Gerrie was born August 21, 1931, in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Westhampton College at the University of Richmond, where she met her late husband, Hervey.

John Eugene Watson Jr., known to all as Gene, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the age of 97. Gene was born in Montevallo, Alabama, in 1924, and graduated from high school in Mullins, South Carolina, in 1941. He served in the United States Army Air Corps as a Navigator on B-17s and B-29s.
