Dot Bolen

Dorothy Lois Bolen died at the age of 91, November 11, 2021, in the home of her son and daughter-in-law. Dot, as her family and friends called her, was born November 19, 1929, in Ducktown, to the late James W. Ray and the late Jessie Lee Cochran-Ray.

Billy “Bill” Donavon Goss, age 78, owner of the Yellow Jacket Restaurant, went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born June 2, 1943, to the late Brent C. Goss and the late Rosa Lee Wilson Goss.

Desma Joan Chastain, age 85, of Naples, Florida, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born August 4, 1936, in Blue Ridge, to the late Fred Marvin Towe and Pearl Key Towe. Desma was a member of First Baptist Church of Naples.

Ola Saunders

Ola Freiddie Saunders, age 86, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at her home. She was born in Orlando, Florida, August 2, 1935, to the late James Daniel Smith and Ethel Irene Singleton Smith. Ola was a longtime member of McCaysville Church of God.

William Stewart

William C. Stewart, age 50, of Blue Ridge, went home to our Lord October 31, 2021. He was a beloved husband and a beloved father, who will remain in our hearts, as love, light and pride for the rest our living days.

Buck Queen

Claude William Queen, affectionately known as “Buck,” age 85, of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born April 26, 1936, in Fannin County, to the late Hayden Howard Queen and Myrtle Green Queen. Buck was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church.
