Del Lay Pierman, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Turtletown, Tuesday morning, February 15, completing a life of joy, service and love. Del was born October 16, 1947, in Newton, Mississippi, to the late Lt. Col. Henry “Hank” Lay and Olivia “Lil” Lay.

James Thomas  Bandy, age 81, of Copperhill, passed away February 6, 2022, at Erlanger Medical Center. Mr. Bandy was born December 6, 1940, in Murphy, North Carolina, to the late Thomas A. Bandy and the late Arizona Morrow.

Mrs. Cheryl Ann Hixson, age 56, of Blue Ridge, pass away February 9, 2022m at North East Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Hixson was born December 23, 1965, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Louis John D’Alessio and the late Mary Ann Gamba.

Hazel Chastain

Mrs. Hazel Deane Chastain passed away February 8, 2022, at Blue Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. Mrs. Chastain was born in Fort Payne, Alabama. She was a very active member at the First Baptist Church, of Ellijay, Georgia, where she especially enjoyed singing in the choir.
