Sosebee sentenced for 2018 traffic crash

Adopt A Pet

The ulti-mutt companion is waiting at Fannin County Animal Control. This past week, two dogs were taken in while three were adopted, and one was reclaimed! No rescues took any dogs this past week. All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.

Following the close of the third, and final, Millage Rate public hearing, the Fannin County Board of Commissioners voted to maintain the county’s tax millage rate of 3.862 at a special called meeting Thursday, September 30.

Advance voting starts Oct. 11

Advance voting in the Blue Ridge City Election will commence Monday, October 11. City residents who are registered to vote in the city may go to city hall at 480 West First Street between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. to cast their votes for mayor and the five council seats.
