Mr. Randy Leslie Ray, 49, of Morganton, passed away October 27, 2021, in Hall County, Georgia.
He was born in Jasper, Georgia, November 24, 1971. Randy was a welder and was recently employed by Wildside Custom Trailers. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ocoee Lodge #201 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Allison Michele Ray; grandparents, George J. Brown, Elmer L. and Grace Caylor Ray. Randy was loved by everyone who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Hilton Ray; son and daughter-in-law, Tyler Loetscher, of Blairsville, Georgia; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Ray and Cody Faucett, of Jasper, Ashley and Kyle Sappah, of Toccoa, Georgia and Judith Ray, of Morganton; parents, Ronnie L. and Wanda Ray, of Jasper; grandchildren, Garry Ray, Jack Ray, Michele Faucett and Braxton Faucett, all of Jasper and Grayson Loetscher and Brantley Loetscher, all of Morganton; grandmother, Alma L. Brown, of Morganton; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Megan Ray, Michael Ray, William and Zan Ray, all of Jasper; great-aunts, Doris Smith Ramsey, of Mineral Bluff, and Gail Brown, of Morganton; mother-in-law, Judy Hilton, of Morganton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law also survive.
Mr. Ray’s wishes were to be cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
