Middle school plant sale Saturday

The Fannin County Middle School Agriculture Program invites all plant lovers out to the middle school greenhouse for their plant sale this Saturday, May 1. The sale will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that day for all members of the public.

Fannin County employees to get cost-of-living raise

The Fannin County Board of Commissioners voted to provide all county employees with a 3% cost-of-living raise following an executive session meeting Tuesday, April 13. “The budget was left flat, which we’re thankful for,” Chairman Jamie Hensley said.

Fannin may help with UNG RCUT funding

The Fannin County Board of Commissioners will consider contributing to the funding of the planned Reduced Conflict U-Turn (RCUT) in front of the new University of North Georgia (UNG) Blue Ridge Campus following a presentation from the university at the board’s regular meeting Tuesday, April 13.
