Tons of trash pulled from waterways during Rivers Alive

Literal tons of trash were collected from area waterways Saturday, September 27, during the Rivers Alive cleanup. The cleanup took place in and along the Toccoa River at Tammen Park and Old Toccoa Farm, and Blue Ridge Lake at Morganton Point.

More than half Fannin male inmates baptized

More than half the men in the Fannin County Adult Detention Center had been baptized last Tuesday night, September 16, when Breaking Chains ministry finished its second service. The night in the jail began the same as a service the week before when women inmates were scheduled to be baptized. Rev.
