Mrs. Theresa Ann Nicholson, age 70, of Ducktown, passed away November 8, 2022, in the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was born in Copperhill to the late Earl Guy Satterfield Sr., and Mary Watkins Satterfield. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

John “Johnny” Henry Newton Sr, age 83, of Morganton, Georgia, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, surrounded by family at his son’s home in Mineral Bluff. John was born August 28, 1939, in Gilmer County, Georgia, to James Ed Newton and Nanny Mae Dempsey Newton.

Mrs. Frances Ann Dillard, age 79, of Isabella, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2022, at her home. She was born October 21, 1943 in Bradley County, Tennessee, to the late Fred Rapier and Ethel Jane Gibson Rapier. Frances was of the Pentecostal faith.

Lucinda “Ann” McMahan, age 71, formerly of Ducktown, passed Thursday, November 3, 2022, surrounded by love. Ann was a member of the Mine City Baptist Church in Ducktown and was a retired sergeant from the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Shelby Sisson

Mrs. Shelby Jean Standridge Sisson, age 81, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Manor Lake Assisted Living in Ellijay, Georgia. Mrs. Sisson was born October 10, 1941 in Copperhill, Tennessee to the late Lake and Pauline Shinpaugh Standridge.

James Addison

Mr. James Lowell Addison, age 71, of Epworth,  passed away October 4, 2022, in Asheville, North Carolina. He was born in Ducktown to the late John Lowell and Faye Simonds Addison July 12, 1951. James had worked for a number of years in security retiring from Wellstar Hospital.
