Judy Galloway Holloway, age 74, of Blue Ridge, passed away August 19, 2022, in Union General Hospital. She was born in Polk County to the late Sam and Ophelia Oma Griggs Galloway. Judy retired from the United States Post Office after delivering the mail from Blue Ridge to McCaysville for 21 years.

Mrs. Jane Aline Panter Hill, age 57 of Rocky Road, Morganton, passed away peacefully, Sunday August 14, 2022, following a brief illness. Mrs. Hill was born September 30, 1964, in Copperhill, the daughter of the late Jack Panter and the late Judy Evans Panter.

Kenneth Hamilton

Kenneth Wayne Hamilton, age 79, of Blue Ridge, passed away, August 14, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Frank and Edith Wells Hamilton. He retired as a medical laboratory consultant and was a professor of Clinical Chemistry.

Ron Williams

Ron Williams of Blue Ridge went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Sunday August 14, 2022. He is survived by his three sons and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ron was loved by so many and had a big heart. Those who knew him always enjoyed his company. He will be missed dearly.

Bertha Garland Foster, age 94, of Blue Ridge went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was born November 16, 1927, to the late Elisha Garland and Lille Long Garland. She worked for many years as a sewing machine operator and was a member of McCaysville Gospel Tabernacle.

Robert W. Orton, 78, passed peacefully surrounded by his family, August 9, 2022, at Manor Lake Independent Living in Ellijay. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Mary Orton, and sister, Nancy Orton.

Betty Ruth Riden Gardin joined her beloved husband of 52 years, Franklin Delano Gardin, in Heaven August 5, 2022. Betty Riden Gardin was born at home September 4, 1939 in McMinn County, Tennessee. She was a star basketball player at Etowah High School, lettering all four years.

Lon Gerald Dockrey, age 77, of Epworth, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 13, 1944, in Epworth to the late Lon Junior Dockrey and Beulah Mae Nichols Dockrey. Gerald worked for twenty-two years at Tennessee Chemical Company.
