SPECIAL TO THE NEWS OBSERVER ---- East Fannin Elementary School student Violet Lake and Caroline Monteith, of Epworth, joined the Glitter Girls at the National Gingerbread Competition in Asheveille, North Carolina, November 22, where they won second place in the Child Division (ages 5 to 7).
