Gail Marie Owens, 64,  of Morganton, passed away August 29, 2021. She was born September 8, 1956, in Ausburg, Germany. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and “Nana.” Gail loved helping people and animals as well as having family cookouts.

Brian Styles Stanford, age 66, of Suches, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Fannin Regional Hospital after a brief battle with COVID-19. Brian was born April 1, 1955, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Helon Gyrlene Styles and the late William Manley Stanford.

Mary Jean Hyatt, age 90, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Hyatt was born April 3, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Ralph E. Pritchard and the late Maholo O. Pritchard. She was a longtime resident of Fannin County after moving here from Atlanta.

Linda Owenby Pack, age 72, of Epworth, passed away peacefully at her home on September 6, 2021, after an extended illness. She was born in Epworth to the late C.W. (Bill) and Annie Mae Owenby. Linda was a member of the Epworth First Baptist Church.

Leon Cripe, age 97, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at his home. Mr. Cripe was born April 2, 1924, in North Manchester, Indiana, to the late Ora Cripe and the late Eva Heeter Cripe. He was a member of Blue Ridge First Baptist Church and the Blue Ridge Gideon Camp.

DeWitt Hubbell Dansard was born March 18, 1935, in Plainfield, New Jersey, and passed away September 9, 2021, in Mineral Bluff. DeWitt was a long-time supervisor at the Florida Power & Light Company.
