Tina Patsy Watkins, 86, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Tina was born November 7, 1935, in McCaysville, Georgia, to Roy and Della Godfrey.

Tina was preceded in death by her spouse, James M. Watkins Sr.; father, Roy Godfrey; mother, Della Godfrey; brother, Clinton Godfrey; sister, Frances Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (David) Clackum; son, James (Ann) Watkins Jr.; granddaughter, Bonnie (Tom) Clackum Harris; grandson, Jon (Sarah) Clackum; grandson, Jacob Swofford; granddaughter, Zoe Swofford; sister, Donna (Larry) Watkins; brother, Tony (Theresa) Godfrey and a host of nieces and nephews.

Beloved Christian, wife, mother, Granny, sister, mother-in-law, cousin, aunt, neighbor, dog mom, volunteer, antique collector, flea market participant, Stanley Home Products salesperson, Cottage Collectibles sale person, homemaker, PTA member, lifelong volunteer with her Church family, schools, and most recently her most passionate cause with the North GA Mountain Crisis Network, Inc. She was a valued volunteer in the Crisis Center thrift stores both at Epworth and Blue Ridge.

She had quite an eye for antiques and enjoyed her booth at the local Flea Markets, perused the thrift and consignment stores, and loved Goodwill. She seemed to always know what folks would be interested in and was a master at pricing and facing her merchandise. She passed her expertise on to James Jr. and sparked a talent for the same that has turned into his very career choice.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Finch Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at Finch Cochran Funeral Home Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
