Steven Meyer

Steven Todd Meyer passed away suddenly September 19, 2022.

He was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, November 21, 1960, to H. Carson Meyer and Mary Jewel Davis Meyer, and moved permanently to Fannin County, in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; son, Steven Todd Meyer Jr. (Bucky); and a nephew, Joseph Meyer.

He is survived by his loving son, William Meyer; his loving partner of more than 25 years, Carolann Brooks; his brother, Michael (Cheung Ae) Meyer; his sister, Julie (Julian) Reid; numerous nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews; his lifelong friend since they were 7 years old, John (Jill) Lamplough; and a countless number of friends, both in Georgia, Florida and Kansas.

In lieu of formal services, a memorial service in Steve’s honor will be held at a future date. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Steve’s memory to the Thespian Society at Fannin County High School.

Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville was in charge of the arrangements.
