Mr. Roger Lynn Patterson, age 61, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Mr. Patterson was born February 9, 1958, in Fannin County to Robert and Myrtle Brown Patterson. He worked for Pilgrim’s Pride in the maintenance department and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his father, Robert Patterson.
Survivors include his mother, Myrtle Patterson of Ellijay; daughter and son in-law, Sonia and Junior Jenkins of Cherry Log; grandchildren, Madison and Jacob Jenkins of Cherry Log; brother, James (Bear) Patterson of Ellijay; sister, Stella Patterson of Blue Ridge; niece, Jamie Weeks; nephew, Matt Lowery; and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral Services were held Monday, January 13, from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones officiating. Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
