Robert Blain Green, 63, of Smyrna, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019, at his residence.
Born December 5, 1956, in Blue Ridge, he was the son of the late Truett L. Green and the late Minnes M. Green. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Catherine Green, Carol G. Carr and Willie R. Green.
Survivors include his partner, John R. Wilson; his brothers, Charles E. Graves, Phillip L. Green, Vance T. Green, Michael C. Green, Manuel D. Green and Danny H. Green; his sisters, Matilda L. Robinson, Dennie F. Cook, Mary Nell Hughes and Thelma D. Adams; 31 nieces and nephews; 69 great-nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 19, 2019, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Ken Hughes, Mr. Charles Farmer, Mr. John R. Farmer and the Reverend Andrew Hight officiating.
Interment followed at Chastain Memorial Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
Serving as pallbearers were Levi Powell, Braden Powell, Mitchell Hughes, Eric Powell, Tommy White, Jake Thomas and Colton White.
