Peggy Ledford

Peggy Jean Towl Ledford, age 78, of Brent, Alabama passed away, July 15, 2022.

Peggy  was born  August 18, 1943 in Turtletown, Tennessee, to the late Dolphus Towl and Myrtle Frances Allen Towl.

She was of the Baptist  faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing with her sisters and vacationing at the beach. Her favorite hobbies were designing and creating holiday decorations for her home and yard.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Donald Ralph Towl and Ronald Lynn Towl; sister, Jimmy Ruth (PeeWee)Boring; and granddaughter Addrienne Ledford Newman.

Peggy is survived by a son, Jeff Ledford of Brent, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Sissy and Jay, and grandson, Trey White of Brent, Alabama; grandson, Colby Ledford of Turtletown; great-granddaughter, Aubri Thomasson of Benton, Tennessee; sisters, Ervlene Dilbeck of Ducktown, Ellie Hickey of Turtletown, Katy (Gene) Ensley of Blue Ridge, Mary (Ben)Ensley of Epworth, and Junell (James) Millholland of Morganton; sister-in-law, Naomi Towl of Farner; brother-in-law, Kenneth Boring of Marietta, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date at Peggy’s favorite place, the beach.
