Jimmie “Peewee” Ruth Boring, age 85, of Turtletown, Tennessee, passed away April 6, 2022.

Peewee was born March 12, 1937, in Turtletown to the late Dolphus Towl and Myrtle Frances Allen Towl. She enjoyed working with flowers and was of Baptist faith. Peewee was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald Ralph Towl and Ronald Lynn Towl.

Peewee is survived by her husband, Kenneth Boring, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Oliver Black, of Marietta, Georgia; grandson and spouse, Michael and Kira Black, of Kennesaw, Georgia; sisters, Ervlene Dilbeck, of Ducktown, Ellie Hickey, of Turtletown, Katy (Gene) Ensley, of Blue Ridge, Peggy Ledford, of Brent, Alabama, Mary (Benny) Ensley, of Epworth, and Junell (James) Millholland, of Morganton; sister-in-law, Naomi Towl, of Farner; as well as, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Music was provided by Lily Whitener.

Interment followed in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Benny Ensley officiating.

Pallbearers were Chris Allen, Brian Allen, Chad Ensley, Russell Towl, Chuck Hickey, Trey White, Davey Ensley and Eric Whitener. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Ledford, Stacy Towl, Tia Worthington, Teffanie Hickey, Tara Hembree, Heather Pickelsimer, Amy Buchanan and many other great nieces.
